The iconic ‘Gatão’ green wine from Soc. Dos Vinhos Borges is being the ‘star’ in the best rooftops in the country. The tour ‘Aqui há Gatão’ will go this summer through several roofs from north to south of the country “and show off its new younger, fresh and vibrant clothes,” says the producer.
The first sunset took place on July 13th in Oporto on one of the city’s most iconic roofs, the Guindalense. The free admission was also entitled to two glasses of wine.
In a relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the Douro River and with the rhythm of the DJ Henry Josh the animation was guaranteed, along the ‘Gatão’ wine.
Besides Porto it also has Lisbon, Algarve, Braga, Caminha and Coimbra sights. Places to go until the end of September “and where there will be, of course, music, fun and ‘Gatão’ in the mix,” says the brand.
The ‘Aqui há Gatão’ tour comes after the image and positioning changing of the brand at the end of May. A bet taken to win new consumers bringing a younger audience and strengthen affinities with customers.
Founded in 1884 by the brothers António and Francisco, the Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges soon became one of the main national wine companies. Recognizing that Portuguese wines excellence can only be achieved by themselves, Borges has always bet on the quality of its production which is exported today to more than 50 countries on the five continents.
