The most Portuguese-speaking festival in Portugal returns to Costa da Caparica and Sagres is the official beer of the event, “reinforcing the brand’s link to the music and sharing strong emotions with young Portuguese adults,” according to a statement released by Central de Cervejas, the brewing group that owns the brand.
The Costa da Caparica Urban Park hosts the sixth edition of the O Sol da Caparica festival and promises a lot of music from 15 to 18 August, with the sounds of alternative rock, African rhythms, samba, hip hop and funk to vibrate and to go up to the main stage that assumes the name of ‘Palco Sagres’ from this edition.
With more than 30 artists already confirmed and among many artistic expressions – from music to comedy, from dance to surf, the festival promises a true meeting of generations, a celebration of the Portuguese language and Portuguese music.
Sagres Beer will support and mark presence at O Sol da Caparica for the next three years, ‘ strengthening its proximity and emotional connection to the best music and celebrating the values of Portuguese identity” said the statement.
The festival has already confirmed: Anselmo Ralph and Friends, Benjamim, D.A.M.A, David Carreira, Kyaku Kyadaff with Rui Orlando, Leo Prince, Linda Martini, Matias Damásio, Rich & Mendes (August 15); Carlão, Fred, I Love Baile Funk, Luís Dams (August 16); Boss AC, Captain Faust, Karetus, Ludmilla, Supa Squad (August 17th).
