Quinta da Pacheca has strengthened its wine portfolio with the launch of two wines: the ‘Pacheca Reserva Branco 2017’ (white wine) and the first late harvest, ‘Pacheca Late Harvest 2015’. The company also launched the harvest ‘Pacheca Porto Vintage 2017’.
‘Pacheca Reserva Branco 2017’ is a big bet from Quinta da Pacheca, which is now launching its first white reserve. It was obtained from grapes of the Viosinho and Rabigato varieties from different vineyard plots located at 300 meters altitude. It has an unusual freshness and a lot of minerality. “With an alcohol content of 13.5 percent is very versatile from the gastronomic point of view. Yellowish in color, it evokes tea leaves in the aroma and citrus touches, surrounded by toasty notes of wood”, explains the company.
‘Pacheca Late Harvest 2015’ is obtained from Sémillon grapes. “It is a sweet wine, elegant, resulting from the dehydration of the grapes and the consequent increase in sugars and acids, which were left in the vine several weeks after the ideal ripening and harvested in the second week of November”, is added in the press release. With an alcohol content of 12, 5 percent, you can drink at leisure time, with desserts or starters.
The ‘Pacheca Porto Vintage 2017’ is also worth mentioning, produced with grapes from the oldest vineyards of Quinta da Pacheca, prevailing the traditional Douro grape varieties. “It’s a dark red wine, opaque in the center with a deep red brim. It has complex black fruit, rockrose notes, wild herbs and violet”, concludes.
