First presented to the public in February 2018 during the International Food and Beverage Industry Salon (SISAB), Quinas Beer set out to conquer foreign markets and pointed batteries to Portuguese communities abroad. It has began to be marketed in France in August last year and has since expanded to an average of two new contracts per month to enter different countries.
Quinas and moscatel Favaíto recently came together in a co-branding strategy and created a pack that brings together six bottles of each drink to international markets. The packaging of ‘Bonito, Bonito, is Quinas with Favaíto’ was in charge of the Consultório agency. “Admittedly more exotic, avant-garde and unusual, the pack’s design has an eccentric and unusual tone”, explains the agency.
Quinas’ portfolio, ranging from bottles and cans of various sizes to handcrafted varieties, including pressure format, are currently on sale in 17 international markets, from the United States to China, as well as Germany, Mexico and Sao Tome and Principe. The strategy is to establish agreements with local distributors for the off trade channel and the brand should reach 24 countries by the end of 2019. New destinations include Vietnam, the United Kingdom, or Brazil.
