Both have the ‘Marca Açores’ (“Azores Brand”) seal which distinguishes high quality Azorean brands namely in the food sector and which are being explored by the Azorean company of the Renova Group, Promineral.
‘Magnificat’ is “a mineral gas water awarded in Stockholm in 2019” and “Gloria Patri” is “a much appreciated in the autonomous region, source of neutral pH “, presents the Renova Group in a statement saying that there “exists a hydropolis rich in mineral waters of different characteristics” under the sleeping volcano das Furnas.
“There are unique characteristics in these ‘water sisters’: both are of volcanic origin, filtration and mineralization, as well as ‘young’ as said by geologists because they do not participate in the water cycle and tend to see the daylight only when bottled unlike continental waters”, reveals the company.
The two water brands explored by Promineral share the fact that they are light (total mineralization below 250 mg / L) and a mineralization rich in silica and magnesium, due to their origin.
“The two compounds were studied by medicine and proven to be beneficial to human health even in small amounts dissolved in water, in the particular case of silica. While magnesium is known for its fundamental role in the energy generation processes of the human body, silica is very important for the regeneration of certain types of tissues such as skin, hair, nails and some other human tissues ”, highlights the Renova group .
As for pH ‘Magnificat’ is slightly acidic which makes it suitable for meals, while ‘Gloria Patri’ is almost perfectly neutral as best science recommends.
‘Magnificat’ obtains its essential gasification in water columns in a natural way over 90 meters high and at temperatures below 8ºC, when natural carbon dioxide is released from the earth under high pressure and low temperature.
“This gasification offers important differences in relation to competitors”, highlights Renova, referring to this water as “extremely soft, light, because the bubble is very small and the gas concentration is just enough to make it bubbly without loss of all gas when the bottle is opened ”.
This type of water is relatively rare on the planet. It “is protected from atmospheric, oceanic, phreatic and aquiferous contaminants due to the unique conditions in which they are naturally found in nature”, underlines the note from Renova.
