The Portuguese brand Izidoro, a reference in the deli has now two new product ranges on the market: one with reduction in kilocalories and another with more protein.
The range with reduction in kilocalories is centered in the segment of ‘Charcuteiro’, and of sausages ‘O Merceeiro’.
This range has available extra ham and turkey breast with thin slices of 110 grams in which each slice of ham has 8 Kcal, informs the Montalva Group brand.
In the segment of sausages Izidoro markets flasks with five sausages 100% turkey (22 kcal) and 100% pork (30 kcal) per sausage. Izidoro also notes that the products are gluten-free and have no colorants or preservatives.
As for ‘More Protein’, all references – extra pork ham, turkey breast ham, 100% turkey sausages and 100% ham sausages – have 30% more protein.
It is recalled that Izidoro presented in May a new image with a more contemporary feature.
The brand now presents a new logo and a new signature, ‘Somos Criadores’ (We Create), which reflects its 100% Portuguese identity, a specialist working with meat. “We made a strategic reflection on the categories and the relationship of the consumers with the brands and we knew that this was the right time to rebranding our brand”, explained the marketing director of Grupo Montalva, quoted in the statement.
Izidoro products also undergo a change in their segmentation, and are now divided into three categories: butchery, delicatessen and grocery. Each of these categories has four different ranges – economic, original, healthy and gourmet – in order to respond to the different needs of consumers.
