On September 27th, the Cooperative of Moura and Barrancos celebrated its 65th anniversary in an event that took place at its headquarters in Moura, while presented its new brand image. The celebration brought together personalities such as Capoula dos Santos, the Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development, and EDIA President José Pedro Salema, In addition to hundreds of associates and collaborators.
The new institutional image of the Agricultural Cooperative of Moura Barrancos was revealed during the event and it was well noticed in the renewed package of the brand’s olive oils, with special emphasis on the ‘Olive Oil Moura DOP’.
“The commemoration of our 65th anniversary was the perfect argument for us to finally be able to present this image change in which we hardly worked to modernize our brand, yet ensuring the reinforcement of our history, our tradition and, of course, the quality of our olive oils ”, says Henrique Herculano, marketing director of the Cooperative.
Henrique Herculano also revealed that more news are coming soon, ensuring that “in the short and medium term, the market and consumers will have more proof of the quality and diversity of the offer that Moura Barrancos Cooperative has to offer ensuring that our oils will keep the commitment assumed since the project was born: quality and passion for olive oil”.
The celebration of the 65th anniversary was also marked by the words of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, who distinguished the Agricultural Cooperative of Moura and Barrancos as an example of success in both the cooperative and the olive sector.
