For Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal (Agricultural Company of Sanguinhal), 2018 was a year that “turned out obviously well”, with emphasis on the vertical test performed with Quinta das Cerejeiras wines “which, in addition to the extraordinary wines of several decades given to taste, provided to those present a gastronomic pairing which was in everyone’s memory”, he emphasizes. The success of this initiative paved the way for what will be the guiding thread for 2019 in the company. “There are several moments that unite the unique wines produced in the several farms of the company for more than 100 years to the best local products of the region of the west and, more specifically, of Bombarral”, reveals in a press release.
One of those moments is scheduled for Valentine’s Day – an enotourism experience with a strong gastronomic component “that promises to please all hearts and palates”. The already traditional party that takes place in June in the gardens of Sanguinhal and marks the arrival of summer promises to be even livelier in 2019. And throughout the first months of the year, the company promises to reveal several initiatives, some in partnership with Hotel Dolce Campo Real, which unite the wines of the Agricultural Company of Sanguinhal, to the most outstanding flavors of the region of the West.
The new line of handmade chocolates – made with Valrhona cacao and products from the Quinta de São Francisco – alongside local chocolate Silvia Baptista are already available in Quinta do Sanguinhal and Quinta das Cerejeiras stores (open every day from 10am to 7pm).
