Rodolfo Queirós is the new president of the Regional Wine Commission of Beira Interior (Comissão Vitivinícola Regional da Beira Interior – CVRBI), which has its headquarters in the city of Guarda, was announced in a statement.
The new president, who served as technical director of CVRBI, as well as coordinator of the Tasting Chamber, succeeded to the position of João Carvalho, who had led the institution since 2011.
The CVRBI covers the wine growing areas of Castelo Rodrigo, Pinhel and Cova da Beira, in Guarda and Castelo Branco districts, where there are 65 wine producers, four cooperative wineries and 61 private producers.
