Quinas beer began being sold in France on several shopping areas, being distributed in the country through Agribéria. The beer – which is being sold in bottles of 33 centilitres – is available in chains such as Carrefour Market (in Valenton), E.Leclerc (Ferney Voltaire), Intermarché (St. Gilles), Panier du Monde (Annemasse, Saint-Genis – Pouilly and Fleury les Aubrais), Saveurs du Portugal (Ascheres), Prim Land (St. Maximin and Romainville) and Luso Market.
“After announcing the exclusive distribution in France through Agribéria, Quinas beer arrived in October at the French sales outlets with the 33cl bottle format and soon the 25cl bottle will arrive”, the Portuguese company announced in a statement.
“The French market is one of the brand’s strong bets in its international conquest and in affirming itself as another option of Portuguese beer that takes the name and flavors of Portugal to the World”, the company further highlights.
Quinas is a brand of the Grupo Domus Capital, a Portuguese-owned company. The idea came as a need to have another national beer in the industrial segment that may have scale as part of the products that Grupo Domus Capital intends to expand. The name emerges as a way to disseminate Portugal in the world and to promote the spirit of conquest that is Portugal’s DNA.
“We are an effectively appealing alternative for the costumer who wants to consume a brand with national recognition. Internationally, the image of our brand is the one that best promotes the characteristics of the Portuguese people. With this in mind, we promoted the name of Portugal and took Quinas very far”, mentioned a statement from Domus Capital by the time the beer was launched.
