‘From Start-to-Table’, Startup Lisboa’s acceleration program for businesses linked to the restaurant ecosystem which is supported by Sagres beer since its first edition was launched on September 8th at its 3rd edition, at ABC – Airport Business Center, the Startup Lisboa’s space at Lisbon Airport with the presence of, Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Marques, and broadcast in livestream.
Despite this edition taking place in considerably different ways as a result of the pandemic, the executive director of Startup Lisboa, Miguel Fontes, left the organization’s commitment to maintaining the level of innovation, quality and demand that has been experienced in the last two editions.
In addition to the support of Sagres beer the ‘From Start-to-Table’ program is also supported by Turismo de Portugal, Delta Cafés and an extensive network of partners and professionals in the sector including several mentors with recognized market experience as managers of major brands in the catering industry who accompany participants throughout the program.
The third edition also has the support of AHRESP which is present since the first edition and Intermagazine as institutional partners.
In addition to the institutional entities that support the program, there were also several projects At the launch of the third edition that have participated in the previous editions of ‘From Start-to-Table’ – Miap, Fumeiro do Mar, Kitchen Village, Classihy and Kitchen Dates -, who spoke about their experience throughout the acceleration, about the impact of COVID-19 on their business and also about how they can have a positive impact on the restaurant and tourism industry.
