The Central de Cervejas has just reinforced its portfolio that already integrates Luso Water and Cruzeiro Water
The Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas has just acquired the new brand from a group of private investors led by Capital Criativo, 100% of the capital of Mineraqua Portugal, which owns the concession and the Castello Water a century-old brand of natural carbonated natural mineral water which is a historical reference in the domestic market.
Central de Cervejas which already includes the companies Novadis, Sociedade de Água de Luso and Hoppy House Brewing in its group, strengthens its presence now in the natural mineral waters market in Portugal by acquiring the Castello Water brand.
It should be noted that this carbonated water brand sold about five million liters in 2018, a figure that represents a share of about 7% in volume of the sparkling water market in Portuguese soil, according to AC Nielsen data.
Água Castello has its filling unit in Pisão, Moura, Alentejo, an ecosystem that confers unique and differentiated characteristics to this natural carbonated mineral water.
