Abreu Carga now operates under the name Abreu Logistics, with the change “translating and reflecting a market that currently goes far beyond cargo transportation in a context of vertical logistics or supply chain”, explains the company in a press release.
Part of the Abreu Group – a reference in the travel and tourism activity, with a history that began in 1840 – Abreu Logistics “inherits from a unique experience” in the management of cargo transportation by air, sea and road, which led to the business empowerment in 1994.
Internationalization, which gained more momentum since the turn of the millennium, is based on the Portuguese – Brazil – Angola axis, supported by a set of partners around the world.
“Since 1980 Abreu has been the market leader in Portugal in terms of air cargo, a performance that should be underlined in a context of strong multinational competition”, assumes the company adding that the Abreu Logistics brand “comes at a time of assertiveness of the company, average growth of over 20% in the last three years alone.”
The company offers a range of services, covering international air, international maritime, road transport throughout Europe, air and sea to the Azores and Madeira, with its own structures in both autonomous regions, as well as logistics and warehouse segments.
