Nabeiro-Delta Cafés Group promoted the Open Day of the trainee program ‘A Greater World’, contributing to bring the company closer to the students, with the aim of finding young talents and offering them the opportunity to join the company and grow professionally with the Nabeiro Group.
In the Delta Silver (‘Delta Prata’) space in Poço do Bispo, in a new construction area that will make the extension of Expo 98; 150 candidates from different fields such as Engineering and Industrial Management, Marketing, Communication, Management, Economics and Finance were selected from a total of more than 1,500 who competed in an initial phase; of those 150 candidates, 20 young talents will move to the last stage of recruitment.
The selection process lasts for 4 months and consists of a five-step journey. As in any journey, if one cannot successfully complete any of the steps, the candidate does not advance in the selection process. The four trainees’ selection will take place in May. Over the course of 12 months, the trainees carry out a series of projects that allow them to get to know the different business areas of the Nabeiro Group and to deepen their knowledge about their training area, learning from the Group’s staff and getting to know the market where this company is present, in more than 35 countries. At the same time, this training also offers candidates the opportunity to develop an innovation project under the guidance of the team of Diverge – Center for Innovation and Development of the Nabeiro Group – Delta Cafés and, thus, to leave its mark on the Organization. The program is scheduled to start in September.
According to Rui Miguel Nabeiro, grandson of the commander Rui Azinhais Nabeiro, and Administrator of the Nabeiro-Delta Cafés Group, “We face the future with responsibility and respect for the future generations. We have always selected, empowered and trained the best talent. This trainee program aims to select inspired young people willing to learn and to build a Greater World. The most important thing is to find people who understand our way in life and in business.”
